Add Storyrock — project entry + Land Use Intelligence article
What was done
Added Storyrock to two connected surfaces, executed as a planned, subagent-reviewed build (plan + spec in .tmp/0014_26_06_24_story_storybook_meridian/).
Projects collection
- Created
src/content/projects/storyrock.md—status: Active,category: Mixed Residential,acreage: 75.13,yield: 321 homes (210 SF · 31 cottages · 80 townhomes) + L-O office,featured: true,sortOrder: 0(leads/projects/),phases: [1, 3, 4](entitlement/design only — no construction phases; project unbuilt). - Hero image: the developer’s plat top-down with lot lines (
storyrock_topdown_lot_lines.png) →src/assets/projects/storyrock-plat.webp, wired into theprojectImagesmap insrc/pages/projects/index.astroand[slug].astro.
Land Use Intelligence article (/dev-iq/land-use-intelligence/storyrock/)
- Created
src/pages/dev-iq/land-use-intelligence/storyrock.astro, modeled onsyringa-crossing-remand.astro— six sections covering the unanimous P&Z recommendation, the west-to-east R-4→R-15 density transition (praised by the chair), ~21% open space, five-phase sequencing + 27-acre annexation, the recommendation-isn’t-Council-approval nuance, and Bailey’s engineer-of-record role. - ZIG enrichment attempted but skipped without fabrication (Meridian is covered, but Storyrock isn’t ingested and the voting-pattern endpoint returned zeros). Accordingly the byline carries no ZIG data claim and the index card is
zig: false— matching the existing non-ZIGwelcome-beema-dahalprecedent. - Hero image for the article card: plain top-down (
src/assets/projects/storyrock.webp).
Wiring
- Added the article as the first card in
src/pages/dev-iq/land-use-intelligence/index.astro(read: "7 min",featured: true); flipped the Beema card tofeatured: falseso only one badge shows. - Added the article to the hardcoded Land Use Intelligence list in
src/pages/search.astro. The project itself is collection-backed and auto-listed in/search/. - Cross-linked: project
intelligenceNote→ article; article →/projects/storyrock/+/services/land-planning/+/services/civil-engineering/.
Verification: npm run build clean (132 pages). Confirmed in dist/: both pages render; Storyrock leads the projects index and the intel grid; both the project and article links appear in /search/; project hero uses the plat image, article card uses the plain top-down; no “approved/final approval” language; in_the_news.png (AI mock-up) not referenced anywhere.
Why
User request: add Storyrock to the Projects page and surface it on the Land Use Intelligence page, using the developer deck for detail but keeping Bailey’s tone and accuracy standards. Facts were reconciled against the real Idaho Statesman article rather than the deck’s self-labeled “illustrative placeholder” content.

- Asserted-facts source: Idaho Statesman, Rose Evans, 2026-06-23 (Yahoo syndication).
- Status framing:
Active— Meridian P&Z voted unanimously to recommend approval (June 18, 2026); City Council decision pending. No “approved”/“final approval” anywhere. - Roles: Bailey = engineer of record (Kelli Black repped the hearing); Trilogy Development = developer.
- Numbers to confirm: 75-acre site (75.13), 321 homes (210/31/80), ~4.3 du/ac, ~21% (~16 ac) open space, R-4/R-8/R-15/L-O, 27 acres proposed for annexation (50 previously annexed — also per the Statesman), five phases.
